Creating your financial blueprint

Your Merrill advisor will serve as your "financial architect," working together to assess your goals and your resources. Your advisor will guide you through the investment process and offer advice along the way. You will be able to weigh trade-offs and make informed decisions about your plan, with solutions to accommodate your needs and preferences, like planning for large upcoming expenses or a desire to enroll in tax efficient management services that may help potentially mitigate the impact of taxes in your portfolio.

High-quality building blocks for your portfolio

Our model portfolios offer you access to high-conviction investment solutions managed by our Chief Investment Office (CIO) and some of the industry’s leading investment managers.

CIO Model Portfolios

Each CIO model portfolio at Merrill is informed by the latest market insights from our Chief Investment Office and grounded in our Strategic and Tactical Asset Allocation guidance. Investments included in these models undergo a full due diligence review and are monitored by our Due Diligence team. CIO model portfolios are managed by our team of professional, in-house portfolio managers, who have direct access to our Due Diligence team’s analysts' ongoing insights and updates about the investments.

Investment Manager Model Portfolios

The Investment Manager model portfolios managed by third-party asset managers are subject to full CIO Due Diligence. While the underlying investments in these model portfolios are not reviewed by CIO Due Diligence team separately, CIO Due Diligence assesses the manager’s capability in selecting managers, managing the total portfolio and meeting its investment objective.

All models are informed by the CIO’s Strategic Asset Allocation guidance and by some of the best thinking from Merrill and Bank of America, offering you access to high-quality investment solutions.
